FAQ – Guesthouse Milimani (Adults Only)

1. Reservation and payment

  • How can I book a room? Preferably directly through OtoZakopane.pl – it’s the fastest and most convenient way to book.
  • Do I have to pay a deposit? Yes. The reservation is confirmed once the deposit has been received. You will receive details by email after booking.
  • Can I pay with a travel voucher? No – we do not currently accept travel vouchers.
  • Do you issue VAT invoices? Yes – we issue VAT invoices after requesting one and submitting the invoice details. We issue it after the entire reservation is paid – during your stay or in advance via email.
  • Can I cancel my reservation? Yes, but the refund of the deposit depends on the selected offer: – Standard: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival – the deposit is refundable, – Non-refundable: lower price, but the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Can I change the dates of my stay? This depends on room availability and the selected offer. Contact us directly.

2. Check-in and check-out

  • What time can I check in? Check-in is from 3:30 PM (self-service).
  • What time is check-out? By 10:00 AM. Please be punctual – this allows us to prepare the room for the next guests.
  • Can I check in later? Yes – you will receive all check-in information via email or WhatsApp, so you can arrive at any time.
  • Can I check in earlier or check out later? By prior arrangement only. Additional fees and availability depend on the booking on the day.
  • What does self-service check-in look like? On the day of arrival, around 12:00 PM, you will receive an email (often via WhatsApp) from us with: – your room number, – the entry code for the main door and your room, – a description of the property and its features, – the Wi-Fi password, and other important information.

3. Stay

  • Is Villa Milimani child-friendly? No – it’s an adults-only property (18+). Looking for a family vacation? Check out our other properties at www.OtoZakopane.pl.
  • Are the rooms cleaned daily? No – Milimani is a cozy guesthouse and is not classified as a hotel. The rooms are thoroughly prepared before your arrival. However, you can take advantage of additional services: – Room cleaning – PLN 50 – Towel change – PLN 15 per set – Bed linen change – PLN 25 per set
  • Can I use the kitchen or common areas? No – the rooms do not have kitchenettes. Each room has a mini fridge and kettle, and a coffee maker is available in the breakfast room.

4. Animals

  • Can I bring my dog or cat? No – we do not accept pets. Thank you for your understanding.

5. Parking and access

  • Is parking included in the price? Yes – parking spaces are located directly at the guesthouse.
  • Can a large SUV or van fit? We have 2-3 spaces for very large cars (e.g., Audi Q7, BMW X7, Dodge RAM). Please let us know in advance – we will reserve a suitable space.
  • Is parking designated? Yes – a parking map is available on site. Please follow it – improper parking may impede entry and exit for other guests.
  • Will access be difficult in winter? In case of heavy snowfall, we recommend using winter tires. The guesthouse is located on a slight slope, but the road is regularly cleared. Address: ul. Droga do Walczaków 25a, Zakopane

6. Room equipment

  • Do the rooms have a balcony or view? Yes – the layout depends on the room: – Rooms 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7 – have a balcony and a view of the Tatra Mountains (including Giewont). – Room 6 – a glass veranda instead of a balcony, beautiful view. – Rooms 4 and 8 – west-facing windows, partial view of the mountains and our other property.
  • Do the rooms have a mini fridge and kettle? Yes – every room has a mini fridge and kettle.
  • Are there any other amenities? Yes, each room has: – a fan (rooms 5, 6, 7, 8), – Wi-Fi (fiber optic), – a welcome kit (tea and coffee capsule), – hypoallergenic bedding, – towels, – hotel toiletries, – a Smart TV with Netflix access (your own account is not required).

7. Surroundings and attractions

  • How far is it to Krupówki Street? About 2 km – a 20-25 minute walk, or 2 bus stops from the nearby bus stop.
  • What’s nearby? – Droga pod Reglami – 5-7 minute walk – Dolina Strążyska – approx. 25 minute walk – Adamo Restaurant – 5 minutes – Shops: Żabka and Euro – 5 minutes – Bus stop – 3 minute walk.
  • Is the area quiet? Yes – the guesthouse is located on a dead-end street, with mountain views. It’s peaceful, perfect for relaxing.

8. Additional services

  • Is breakfast included in the price? Yes – breakfast is served daily in the dining room. Included in the price.
  • Can I use the sauna? Yes – there is a private sauna available for guests to use exclusively (once a day, 55 minutes). Details and reservations: tel. +48 668 667 777 or email. You can also arrange a time in the morning during breakfast.
  • Do you offer assistance with organizing activities? Yes – we’re happy to help organize: – a welcome snack or birthday room decoration, – a restaurant table reservation, – a sleigh ride, a beer spa, a hot air balloon ride, or even… a helicopter 🙂 – airport transfers.

9. Safety and failures

  • What to do in case of a breakdown or problem? Call the phone number in your welcome email or the emergency number on the information board.
  • Is the facility monitored? Yes – the outdoor area is monitored, as are the indoor common areas.

10. Layout of rooms and bathrooms

  • What kind of beds are in the rooms? – Rooms 1, 2, 3, and 4 – king-size beds, ground floor. – Rooms 5, 6, and 7 – mezzanine bedrooms with 180×200 cm hotel mattresses. – Room 8 – king-size bed in the bedroom + two 90×200 cm mattresses on the mezzanine in the living room (can be combined).
  • Do the rooms have separate toilets? – Rooms 1, 3, and 7 – have a separate toilet. – The remaining rooms – the bathroom and toilet are connected.
